Mr. Cook has started the Writing Center to help students write their essays. At the center, you read your essay aloud to a tutor and they correct you on your mistakes. 

We interviewed Mr. Cook at the writing center, and he says in the future,” I want to always be training new tutors, and I would like to get to the point where we have regular attendance”. 

It’s not necessary to have a completed essay to come to the writing center, you can have no essay and there to receive help starting the paper. 

The time to go is Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:15-7:50 am or 3-4 pm. Mr. Cook recommends that you come to the writing center if you are writing any paper, essay, etc.

Mr. Cook is the only teacher that runs the center, but there are student tutors that assist Mr. Cook. 

You don’t need to sign in or email Mr. Cook to come to the center,  Just walk in. Don’t forget that the writing center is a great resource for helping you write your papers.
