The Spirit Week Check was revealed on March 10th at the end of Sweek pep rally. The student body raised a grand total of $22,013.46 The money will be split between Rebuild Upstate and an update to the Blazer Backyard.

Rebuild Upstate is a local, non-profit organization that focuses on home preservation and repairs to help keep residents in their own homes. Donating money to this organization is a great way for GMC to help the community around us.

The update to the Blazer Backyard will consist of several changes. A firepit will be added to the patio to be used during events like Party on the Patio. There will also be seating around the fire pit to enable teachers to host outdoor classes.  Lastly, there will be some seating added to the grassy play area to allow students more seating options at lunch.
