Kelly Morris is a full-time math teacher here at GMC.
Her first job was being a server at a country club, but it had been a lifelong dream of hers to become a teacher.
She was a part-time teacher at GMC last year. This is her 8th year teaching overall and her 6th year at GMC.
Before becoming a teacher, she received a bachelor of science degree in secondary math education.
David Smith and Paula Rouse told her about GMC’s outstanding traits which led her to apply for a teaching position.
Morris wants her students to know that they will always be learning in her classroom and that mistakes are okay.
She explained that her biggest inspiration is her children and feels that all teachers should be kind and understanding towards their students.
