Our teachers work extremely hard inside the classroom. But what do they do after the bell rings? Let’s take a look at what your favorite teachers do outside of the classroom.

Coach Elliott: Coach Elliott works as an online and in-person personal trainer. She has had this job for over ten years. She loves that it allows her to be creative in a different way than teaching. 

Mrs. Bailey: Mrs. Bailey is no stranger to hard work. She teaches several different classes and helps with our student government. Her side hustle is wedding planning. She has been a wedding planner for five years now. She loves being a part of other people’s love stories especially if they are GMC graduates!

Mr. Rainey: Mr. Rainey loves music. He extends this love for music to others outside of school. He works at His Vineyard Church in Greer as an associate worship pastor. He says that this job means he gets to do his two favorite things at the same time.

Mrs. Oyervides: Mrs. Oyervides always helps with the floristry option for Eduscape every year. She has worked as a florist for three years. She worked at a popular florist shop in Pensacola, Florida in 2018. She wanted to continue her hobby and has been very successful. She creates beautiful bouquets. 

Mrs. Robinson: Mrs. Robinson is known for her kindness and creativity. She found a job that allows her to use her creativity outside of the classroom. She has worked as an event decorator for three years. She began working in this job with the help of her family and friends.

Mrs. Hunter: Mrs. Hunter has worked as a travel agent for twelve years. She loves to travel and wants to help other people make memorable trips for their families.  

Mrs. McAllister: Mrs. McAllister has been coaching Riverside’s competitive cheer team for four years. She cheered in high school and can now share her love for cheerleading with young girls and help them grow their love for the sport. 

Mr. Cook: Mr. Cook is known for his amazing writing skills. In his free time, Mr. Cook writes and publishes books. I highly recommend that you take the time to purchase and read one of his books. They are truly wonderful. 

Mr. Frans: Mr. Frans always has math on his mind. In his free time he creates nursery rhymes about numbers and factors. He states that he writes “mad precal rhymes yo.” We all love him for it.
